Sex positivity is a term that has been steadily gaining traction in mainstream media and the public consciousness. Indeed, you can hardly trip over a copy of Cosmopolitan without landing in a puddle of sex positivity.  The movement has officially crossed over from liberal blogs and porn conventions to common parlance. But what does it actually mean?

At it´s most simple sex positivity sees sex as a healthy celebration of pleasure predicated on consent. Put even more simply, "put anything you want anywhere as long as there is consent"  While sex positivity has ties to feminism, it´s not just about women, but is about liberating society from inherited taboos. This resonates very strongly with us here at Joybear. Sex should be fun. Sex should be free. Most importantly, sex should be pleasurable.
