Is There Room for Romance in Porn?
Take a look at this sweet, short film. It does a great job of building
romance and tension between two people.
I think sex would spoil this film, as it has an innocent charm about
it, from the music to even the look of the characters.
Do you agree, or is this the kind of build-up that is so often missing in
porn films?

| I quite liked the arc and the innocent romance of it. It conveyed the energetic emotional rollercoaster we all feel in a new encounter and left the rest to the imagination. That said, I think it could have been a minute or two shorter for my taste. |

| Yeah, it can be so hard to build up and convey genuine sexual tension in porn scenes. But it is possible and we always like a challenge - it can be done! |

| really well worked scene...great build up and certainly would of liked to see them develop together although I fear after all that build up it could of gone horribly wrong...surely there is room for both depending on what your after..the quick fix where you want to see action straight away or if you are enjoying with another why not build up a little if the build up is good that is! |

Nice little post Daisy and good question!
I really like this short. It\'s a simple story, nicely executed with 2 appealing main characters. Would this work as build up for an explicit scene? No way! The point of the narrative is to make us think, smile or whatever you personally want to feel. I am pretty sure the director wasn\'t trying to turn us on. On the other hand, porn has a specific function - to arouse. When you\'re in the mood, you don\'t want to deal with alternative emotions, otherwise you\'d have gone to the movies.
Shorten the film by half, preventing your viewers from fully engaging with the characters, and yeah, it would be a nice lead in to a steamy scene between 2 strangers - nice!
